Trustees and Governors of Bosco

Tim Feast

Chair of Board of Directors
Tim has been involved with school improvement and governance for over 30 years, most recently as Head of Secondary Standards for a Local Education Authority. He works with outstanding Catholic schools and is delighted to bring his experience and expertise to the º£½ÇÖ±²¥.

April Hanks

Trustee (Diversity Director)
April has worked as a School Business Manager at a local Catholic Primary School as well as having been a Governor over a period of 8 years. This has been a very rewarding experience and she is looking forward to using this experience to be able to work towards the development of so many students now and in the future. She hopes to be able to work with the Trust team to grow and develop the Trust to maintain and develop progress through the joint Catholic ethos and education system. April has a range of experience in different sectors alongside education and hopes that this range of skills will enable her to grow and deliver the very best Catholic education for our children.

Fergus Brotherton

Trustee (Finance & Premises Director)
Fergus has considerable experience of strategic level working for the Diocese in his former role as Financial Secretary (1986-2015). He has experience of charity accounts and was originally a civil/structural engineer, enabling him to contribute to building works and property management. His responsibilities as Financial Secretary for the Diocese included administering the Diocesan and parish accounts, trusts, investments, banking, payroll, personnel, insurances, some school and parish projects, property management and transactions, legal matters, tax reclaims, parish assessments, parish administration manual, civil law compliance and health & safety.

Fr Daryl George

Trustee (Catholic Ethos Director)
During 28 years of ordained priesthood, Fr Daryl has a great deal of experience of Catholic schools in the role of either chaplain or governor. Fr Daryl was part of the steering group, charged with the responsibility of forming the º£½ÇÖ±²¥. He has a licentiate degree in Canon Law and has a very good grasp of the Catholic Church’s law concerning Catholic Education. Fr Daryl has been involved in school appeals, appointing headteachers and other senior leaders, commissioning school support and bringing additional funding into schools.

Chris George

Trustee (Health & Safety Director)
With 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and having previously been joint Chair of Governors at a West Sussex school, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge in building refurbishment and new build programmes. As a father of three pupils at St Phillip Howard Catholic Secondary School, he has seen first-hand the journey that pupils make through a Bosco school and is passionate about maintaining and enhancing the experience for more children.

Juliette Bellingall

Trustee
Juliette is an experienced Class Teacher, SENDCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead and has been a Deputy Head teacher. She has worked predominantly within the Primary sector. Around raising a family, she has amassed over 35 years of experience in education, in a wide variety of roles. She has run her own tuition business and was Director of BFEYS, an organisation which regulated and inspected Early Year’s provision for the MOD in Germany. She was a member of the MOD children’s safeguarding board and worked closely with and received training from OFSTED. Juliette is committed to safeguarding and promoting an inclusive education for all children and young people.

John Merrigan

Trustee
John is a full-time theatre-maker and musician based in West Sussex. Previously, he was a senior executive in the oil and gas industry in an international career spanning 30 years. John was a board governor at Dubai College for 10 years. John and his wife Danielle currently have two children at primary and secondary level in the Bosco Trust.

John Bryant

Trustee
Until his retirement in 2023 John was a practising barrister for some forty years, specialising primarily in professional negligence and property work. He is married with three children and has five grandchildren, one of whom was educated at St Philip Howard, Barnham, a Bosco Trust school. He has been a governor of a catholic school since 2012.

Victoria Edgington

Trustee
Vicki joined Bosco as a Trustee in 2025, having previously served as a Governor at St Philip Howard Catholic School for two terms. Vicki works as HR Director for Chichester College Group, a large FE college provider with colleges across Sussex, Brighton and Hove. She has a strong interest in employment, in equity and diversity and in leadership development. Vicki has worked in various public sector HR roles, including with schools in West Sussex, throughout her career. Outside of work, Vicki and her husband have three children, all of whom benefitted from their times at our Catholic primary and secondary schools.

Chris Horrocks

Trustee
Chris has been a finance lawyer in the City of London for more than 15 years. He is currently a senior member of a team at a leading multinational law firm and has previously worked in the legal teams at major global investment firms and banks as well as other international law firms. Chris has four daughters, two currently attending St Paul’s Catholic College and two at (or soon to join) St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School. Chris is passionate about supporting Catholic education and is keen to use his professional experience to help the º£½ÇÖ±²¥ continue to grow and provide outstanding opportunities for its students.

Ian O'Sullivan

Trustee
Ian is currently responsible for IT and all related systems across the Diocese, as well as advising on Data Protection. Previously he worked in London secondary schools, specialising in data and examinations for over 10 years. Ian’s son attends a Bosco primary school, where he gets to experience firsthand the excellent education and care provided by schools across our trust. Ian is passionate about supporting our trust in delivering outstanding Catholic education to all the children in our care and extending that opportunity to future members of the Bosco family as the trust continues to grow.
