Frequently asked questions about parking on the Camosun campuses.
General parking information
How does parking work for students and guests?
- Camosun College uses a License Plate Recognition (LPR) or pay-by-plate system.
- Parking can be purchased at meters or through the mobile apps by entering your license plate, permit duration, and payment.

Can I park in any lot or area?
- No. All lots have specific designations (i.e. Staff Only, General, Short Term, Disability, Electric Vehicle Charging, Elder, etc.).
Is my parking permit valid at both campuses?
- Yes. Your paid parking via LRP is valid at either Lansdowne or Interurban, regardless of which campus meter you paid. For example, if you purchase a daily parking permit at Lansdowne, but need to attend class at Interurban later that day, your permit is still valid.
